Beau Monde Society Presents 5th Annual Eco-Collective Fashion Envie on April 22nd, 2017
New York City, NY – April 17, 2017
Beau Monde Society (BMS) will be presenting its fifth annual installation of Fashion Envie (FE) on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at Foley Gallery in New York City. With this year’s Metamorphosis theme, BMS's Creative Director, Jennifer Nnamani is inspired by climate change and the current political climate. FE’s Metamorphosis aims to address the abrupt reversal of human ethics and the beauty that resistance brings forth. This year’s class of designers will focus on two narratives; Women Empowerment and the Immigrant Story. From intriguing storylines, colorful palettes and a commitment to sustainability, Metamorphosis will encourage reflection and action. With art visualized and created by Nnamani, carefully curated music, and an independent fashion designer lineup, FE17 is a projection of BMS's growth and presence in the ethical and afro-future sphere.
About the Event:
Fashion Envie – Fashion, Environment, and Life is a sustainable platform created by Beau Monde Society’s founder, Jennifer Nnamani in 2013. Fashion Envie presents a F.U.N (Fashion Understanding Nature) perspective of fusing eco-friendly fashion and art in a curated space.
